About Me

Optical Drive # 1

  1. Hi, so for almost a year now i've had 10 QL120's installed in my PC, I build my PC all brand new, the fans are all hooked up to corsair hardware, 6 fans are connected to the Corsair Elite Capellix cooler, the other 4 are connected to a RGB hub and a Corsair commander pro, I use iCue to control the fans and lightning, so no 3th party software or hardware. Now for the problem, a few LED's from 5 fans always show a different color then what I assign it, currently it's set to all white and some LEDs are pink (as shown in the picture) this is for a few colors, with yellow it becomes red for example, and for some colors it's working perfectly fine, I've been in contact with Corsair customer support, they couldn't fix the issue and send me new fans, they worked for about a day and then it went back to acting weird. I've tried fully reinstalling all Corsair software and resetting the commander pro, elite capellix and RGB hub, this didn't help as well... I've also tried switching the connectors, it doesn't matter in what port the fan is plugged into, the same fan with the same LED's keep acting strange. I'm all out of ideas, I really hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance! Morris
  2. Hi, I've been searching and apparently seems that QL led's are subject to some issue, here is mine also. Being a 150$ kit, well this shoudn't happened Do someone else have sorted out how to fix it (I've already open a ticket with support); I wasn't expecting this lack of quality control from Corsair on a "premium" devices
  3. Hi, so my "amazing" commander pro is "having fun" lately - it keeps asking firmware update even if it have the last version (0.9.212) I've tried all the possible troubleshooting that you can think of but still; now waiting for the support to RMA it. Do anyone of you have the same issue and sorted out somehow? I'm wondering how a 65€ (this is how I paid for) product can be so poorly designed/engineered and integrated in iCue.
  4. I got the k55 RGB keyboard around a week ago and there are some issues with the macro keys. I have followed the guide on the instruction manual that came with the keyboard. Here is a link to a copy of the instructions online. I have followed all the instructions on page three to set the macros, and when I go to press the macro on the keyboard it does the key press/key presses but along with that, lots more key presses. For example if I press the g1 key assigned to the windows key, the start menu appears but along with that the pause/play music button is pressed and oddly microsoft powerpoint, settings and around 10 tabs at http://www.office.com are opened (probably related to powerpoint opening), and occasionaly random letters are typed into the start menu search bar. I have tried resetting the keyboard by holding the function key and f4 while plugging the keyboard in. It worked because the macros were reset. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard driver which hasn't fixed the problem either. I know it isn't OS specific either because I have tried this in my linux installation and I still get the random text being typed and music being paused. Edit: I think this might work using the iCue software but I would prefer to not use iCue because it uses a lot of cpu usage and I would like to be able to have the macros saved when I switch to a different computer or operating system
  5. Hi all, I'm having some trouble getting iCue to recognise a newly purchased and installed H115i Pro XT RGB. The pump lights have lit up and are cycling through (what I assume) to be a standard rainbow cycle, the pump is cooling well after configuring it in my motherboard's BIOS and 2x Noctua NF-A14s I've attached to the radiator and Corsair Commander Pro are running fine. Cooling wise I'm pleased, however I cannot get iCue to recognise it in order to monitor pump speed and customise RGB. If it helps, here's my PC's spec [running latest Windows 10]: Ryzen 5 5600X Gigabyte Aorus X570I Crucial Ballistix 2x8GB 3600Mhz CL16 Sabrent Rocket 1TB NVME (TLC) [boot drive, various other drives for game and recording libraries] Corsair SF600 Platinum PSU PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 6700 XT Cooler Master NR200P (using vented side panel and horizontal GPU layout) Corsair Commander Pro, attached are: 2x NF-A12x15 bottom intakes, 2x NF-A14 side intakes (H115i rad) & 2x Cooler Master Sickle Flow fans exhausting up top. H115i Pro XT RGB in the USB 1 header Monitoring and controlling fan speeds and component temperature is fine through the Commander Pro in iCue. However, the H115i Pro XT RGB refuses to show up. So far I've tried: -Disbaled fast boot and XM-something hand off under USB settings in motherboard BIOS (following a post on Corsair forums), -Updated motherboard's chipset drivers to latest, -Reinstalled iCue 4 (per Corsair's clean install guide), -Installed the iCue v3.x on the H115i Pro XT RGB's product page under 'Support - Downloads', -Using USBDeview to try and locate H115i (no success, can see Commander Pro as only Corsair device), -Windows 10 Device Manager that reveals 'Corsair composite virtual device' which apparently has the latest/most optimised drivers - possibly Commander Pro? -No micro-USB cable on hand small enough to plug into the back of the motherboard to see if it's a Commander Pro compatibility issue. It would press against and possibly damage the RAM modules. Any further troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. I have read this is a problem on AMD systems and if it requires an RMA I'd rather avoid it. Also other users who have experienced the same problem have reported plugging their case USB into the Commander Pro's USB header and pump usb directly into the motherboard has solved the issue - I'd rather avoid this due to further cable management and tinkering after squeezing the H115i into the NR200. The cooler is running seemingly fine and I'm content with performance. It would just be nice to see it in iCue and customise colour schemes - this is also why I went for the H115i over NZXT X63 (in my girlfriend's SSUPD Mesh system) and Cooler Master 280mm AIO due to already having the Commander Pro for 6 fans. At the end of the day I can't actually see the cooler behind the rad on the side bracket and am pleased with performance - lowest temps I've seen since building this sysytem, was previously using a Noctua NH-U9S which I've kept in case this AIO bricks. EDIT 1: I should mention the motherboard (Gigabyte Aorus X570I) has only 2 USB headers - 1 for case and 1 for other components. I've the NR200 front panel USB plugged into larger and Commander Pro plugged into smaller.
  6. I had just finished my new build that has six fans (3 SP120 rgb pros, and 3 LL120 Rgbs) I had set it up and got it working just fine with a Node pro and Rgb hub. But I had decided to switch the fans into different spots, moving their cable to different ports as well. Now for whatever reason, there are 2 different fans synced up to 2 other fans with the lighting. All of them light up just fine, but when I go into lighting setup the two that seemed to have synced with other fans don't light up. I can provide more info if needed.
  8. Recently I've been having some issues with my cooler. It use to let me change the colours fine and i wouldn't have any issues. About a week again it stopped letting me change the fan and pump colours completely and is just on a rainbow one. Anyone know what could be going on?
  9. The Sabre RGB PRO, gets randomly an exclamation mark @ iCue, mouse DPI/RGB lights will default to whatever as they are not following the setup from iCue, also can't be controlled from iCue, only way to get it right is to disconnect the mouse and connect it again (really?), Things I did so far, I uninstalled Corsair composite virtual input device, drivers, issue still randomly present I uninstalled the above + iCue, reinstalled and issue still randomly present I reinstalled Windows, issue still randomly present (not for this but happen that I was installing a new system) I disabled USB power on sleep states/shutoff, issue still randomly present Device is connected to a USB2.0, but same behavior on USB3.0, issue still randomly present I hardware reset the mouse following instructions, issue still randomly present I have almost every day to unplug and plug mouse back in, before this one, I had a razer deathadder and never had this type of issues, but I decided to move to the corsair ecosystem with a k100, a headset, a HXi PSU, aCommanderPro, and some corsair RGB lights, Another issue is some wiggle on the left button (again my 3 year old razer dosn't do this) I contacted support 2 days ago but no answer, so it's a bit disapointing that we need to chase down support, in a couple of days, my next stop will be twitter, to see if I can get an answer, And if you are still reading thanks, and oh my, sorry for all the venting, Cheers, Martin.
  10. So I bought the h115i elite capellix a few days ago. It works fine, but the only issue is, I can't seem to find it in the iCUE software. I believe this may be because of the usb connection, since both the headers on my MB were tested to work fine, but I can't seem to find it connected anywhere! No sound when I plug/unplug it like I would expect to hear, and no luck finding anything in device manager. I have tried reinstalling, doing a clean wipe of iCUE, along with updating every driver I could, and even my tears didn't wipe away the horror that is the rainbow colors laughing in my simplistic white themed build. :( Any help would be appreciated, I almost want to just unplug the RGB and leave it like that. My only idea as to what it could be is that the usb that is connected to the Commander Pro Core that came with it is broken.
  11. I have had the Corsair Virtuoso headset for 24 hours and it was working fine yesterday. I got on my pc today and now when I plug the headset in, it will start charging normally for about 10 seconds then the charging light, corsair side light, and the mic light will change color and start blinking rapidly until the headset lights all turn off. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks.
  12. Trying to pair the mouse with a laptop without CUE installed. Doing following steps: 1. Turn off the mouse. 2. Set wireless mode switch to Bluetooth mode. 3. Hold top button aka Profile switch. 4. Turn the power switch on. Nothing happens then. I expect the 3 small LEDs to flash blue, but they don't, no matter how long I hold the Profile switch button. Actually none of LEDs are working. The mouse just seems to be dead unless I switch it back to 2.4GHz mode. Mouse is brand new, just updated firmware to v3.19 (not sure about minor version, can't check atm. Was 3.08 and went to 3.1X after). 2.4 GHz and USB work properly. Is it a defect or something?
  13. I been having this issue for awhile now and i tried a bunch to fix it and nothing works but shutting down icue. I notice when icue is running and connected my pc will lag stutter and the lights on my keyboard and headset will stutter and freak out. I also notice its slowing down my internet speed i have gigabit internet and when icue is running im getting speeds of like 50 over 70 highest 120 over 150. I turn off icue and shut it down my speed jumps up to gigabit speeds. I dont understand how a company can just let this kind of thing stay around for so long. I seen post from years ago saying the same thing and it seems like they never fixed it. Honestly at the point if i cant find a fix on the forums that im just going to get rid of all my corsair stuff fans headsets keyboards and just go with razer. my build mobo msi meg ace z490 cpu i7 9700k gpu msi rtx 2070 super oc cosair products corsair lp fans void pro wired headset and k68 rgb keyboard
  14. Using my first M65 Military Green since 2014 and my second "attempt" around early 2016 I gave up about the middle-mouse-click issue and still use the model on every title I don´t feel the need to use that randomly functional button. I´ve seen the new PRO RGB model (sadly not military green...) and like the new sniper button position, BUT I´m a bit concerned if the middle-button will die on me early once again and make me salty about the purchase. Is the new model more sturdy than the previous ones so I´ll don´t have to switch over to my secondary mouse with working middle-click? Cause 1-6 months is a really low lifetime for a not really often used button... Besides that issue I really like the design and grip of the M60/65 series a lot more than most others I had yet.
  15. Hello everybody, I'm dealing with a small issue in my brand new build. I have an H150i Elite CPU AIO (in addition to RAM, Keyboard, Mouse, and other Peripherals) running on the iCue software. The issue is that the middle fan on the radiator has stopped being detected by the iCue software and will not spin. The LED's on it work fine and update with the iCue lighting controls, but when I switch to the performance tab, the fan just isn't there. My build is just two days old and the fan was operating normally up until today and it did show up in iCue as excepted. Now, only the LED controls for the fan show up in the H150's LED control tab. I read some posts I found on here of slightly similar issue, many people claimed this was a hardware issue with the fan or the controller. However, If I disable iCue, the fan starts right back up again. Furthermore, if I enable "limit software control" under the settings menu for the H150, the fan runs normally again. Given that even without the middle fan running, the H150 cools my 10900K just fine. And that I can get it working simply by enabling the limited software control option. As mentioned earlier, I've had this rig up and running for 3 days and this issue seemed to come out of nowhere today after a restart. This is not a huge issue for me at the moment. However, with the price I paid for the H150 (along with rest of my corsair products) I would very much like if it worked as intended.
  16. Hello guys, I recently bought an M65 pro RGB and downloaded iCue to set my profiles. All seemed to work perfectly, apart from the fact that the upper led stating the different dpis levels, returns the wrong colors. For example: I set a dpi profile as Red and the led shows up Yellow Same thing for green etc while blue and violet seems working fine. So i thought one of the rgb microleds was broken, until it randomly came back to normal and showed colors, then randomly did the issue again. Any thoughts? Anyone had the same problem? Let me know, best regards :)
  17. Hi all, New forum member here. I have recently noticed that with the iCUE software running in the background, all iOS devices plugged to the Mac will not be detected. In console, this message appears: 028001.068426 usbmuxd@(null): AppleUSBHostUserClient::openGated: could not open provider iPhone. provider already opened for exclusive access by iCUE iCUE will have to quit and iOS devices reconnected for a successful detection. Am using first-gen Corsair K70 RGB on macOS 11.2.2.
Merci d'avance.
  19. My build is in both my forum profile and also here on pcpartpicker ( https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Gadolinium/saved/6fkVwP ) Looked around on some other forum posts on this issue, and even one person just gave up from the looks of it. I've got ab4x8G kit of Vengeance Pro RGB, and the 4 channels/sticks are out sync with eachother. Just looking at all 4 sticks set to marquee, I can watch the effect start off in-sync, but then over time, they will be all out of order with eachother. EDIT: Minor spelling issues. Want to add that the out-of-sync issue happens on ALL effects. iCue's preview always looks okay, but the effects will slowly go out of sync between the RAM sticks themselves. Even setting it to software-controlled has problems.
  20. Hello. I have four 120mm Corsair QL fans in the front of my case. The RGB connectors are plugged into a Lighting Node Core. The fan connectors are plugged into a Commander Pro. The USB connector of that Lighting Node Core is plugged into the Commander Pro. I also have an H150i Elite Capellix. The fan and RGB connectors of the Capellix are plugged into a Commander Core. The USB connector of the Commander Core is plugged into the Commander Pro. The USB connector of the Commander Pro is plugged into a header on my motherboard. Unfortunately, when iCue runs, the lighting effects of at least one of the fans is glitched out when in Rainbow Wave mode or the inverse static color when set to a static color. For example, three fans are red and the other is green or three fans are green and one is blue. I tried swapping the RGB connectors many times. Currently, three fans are affected. I have an Asus motherboard and an MSI graphics card, but Asus Armoury Crate and MSI Dragon Center are currently not installed. This is a fresh install of Windows. Logitech Gaming Software is installed, but not set to start with Windows. Also, Aurora is installed. Thank you in advance. Edit: I found the issue. I plugged in the RGB connectors one by one. The RGB connector for the first fan from the top went into Connector 1, the RGB connector for the second fan from the top went into Connector 2, etc. The fourth fan from the top was causing the issue, so I swapped RGB connectors 3 and 4. Now, when I make all fans red, they're all red except for some blue in the back of the third fan from the top, which now has its RGB connector placed in Connector 4. At some point in time, I'll be replacing the third fan from the top. Edit 2: Also, the same spot on the third fan from the top glitches when using the Rainbow Wave preset.
  21. The latest firmware of H100i Platinum RGB black edition not white edition (v.1.01.15) downgrades the pump power from 3000 rpm to 2800 rpm in Extreme mode. Can you please share the previous firmware image (v1.00.33) for me to reflash? This is really annoying and I need your help on this case. Please. This is urgent. Here are the screenshots of pump power from that I took from the latest firmware (v.1.01.15): and here are from the previous firmware (v1.00.33):
  22. I think I've narrowed down the issue, it seems whenever I connect or disconnect an iCUE device (i.e. charging my mouse with the cord) it resets the lighting to a static red, even though the hardware lighting is set to visor, which does work when I close out iCUE completely. In addition, this static effect does not include the top right section of the keyboard nor the sides of the mouse, as shown in the pictures included. Anyone have any ideas of what to do? K100 and Dark Core Pro SE, for reference. Keyboard Mouse
  23. Hello, Recently my K70 (non rgb) has been having an issue where the backlight program button would randomly go into its program mode which stops any keys from typing but instead just turns the lights on and off. Changing the bios switch fixes it but only temporarily. Sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes 10 mins or so. Its getting annoying having the keyboard basically stop working and having to flick the switch. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to stop this issue? Thanks
  24. Hello ladies and lads, I am having some issues with my LL120 fans, I currently have six on my build (Brand new build). Whenever I do any mundane task or even on idle, my fans randomly spike and kick on so loud. I unfortunately do not have Commander Pro in this build just the LNP. Is there anyway at all to control my fan curve or something to stop this issue, as the fans are great, it's just this random kick in spike that's doing my head in. Thank you in advance guys! -Ryder
  25. I have aproblem with my Corsair Void Elite RGB headset :(: When I turn on my computer iCue software starts and automatically configures my headset. The thing is that I try to turn on the mic but it doesn´t work even if I do it from iCue or from the headset´s button. I tried looking up on the Internet about this problem but I didn´t find something useful. I tried to uninstall and install iCue but the problem is still on. How can I solve this ?
