IRyannHD
I put in a request to RMA my ram as it was showing errors on memtest. It was all approved and I am being sent new ram PRIOR to sending my defective because of the express option. This is a problem as I have put down the wrong LOT number (same model number), I have put the LOT number of my good ram instead of the faulty ram, so if I send the faulty ram with the different lot number it we be declined, this is also bad as I will receive the new RAM and I will have to send that back because I cant send the bad ram because of the lot number mismatch. I don't want to send the good ram (which the lot number I have accidentally used) as it will be pointless. It is also expensive to send to the Netherlands. Administrators Technobeard Posted May 10, 2014 Administrators Share Posted May 10, 2014 It's not a problem. The RMA approval doesn't hinge upon the lot number.
