  1. At first, sorry for any mistakes - English is not my native language.. I just bought my iCue Nexus and to say the truth, I have a little "mixed" feelings. It is not a bad product, but with a little more effort in "controling software", it could be a MUCH BETTER product.. There are some ideas, i have been thinking of during setting up my nexus... 1) To have an ability to set our own tresholds for graphs - just like in this thread. - For graphs to have an actual use, it is vital to have an option to set fixed tresholds, because with variable tresholds, there isn't really much to read from them (apart from that they look nice :D ).. - I would suggest to take an inspiration from graphs situation in MSI Afterburner software, which I found very usefull in monitoring hardware 2) Adding MUCH MORE options for hardware monitoring. - Again, if I compare raw amount of data, which offers for example MSI Afterburner and iCue Nexus, it's a really big difference. - For example RAM usage, V-RAM usage and GPU load would be a nice additions (there are more, but this three I found vital). - There is also an potencial for CPU usage to shows all cores in one graph, but I don't know, if this is useful idea.. 3) Better ability to set brightness of iCue Nexus via different methods. - At first, I would like to see a touch button with that function on start screen - But it would be nice to have an opportunity to use my K100 control wheel to configure brightness of iCue Nexus in the same way, as it controls a brightness of keys. - With that in mind, there are many more possibilities in integrating K100 control wheel into iCue Nexus. 4) Possible integration with common media players (WMP, VLC, iTunes etc.) would be nice. - An integration with multimedia player (I mean showing "what's playing") would be nice - For example SteelSeries keyboards with displays have that ability - With sound in mind, an ability to dynamicaly show volume levels (in style of old "VU - Meters", or newer "db metters") would be a very cool feature as well Again, please don't take this post as complaining, I am very happy to have iCue Nexus (I always dreamed of having display on my keyboard), but in my opinion, there is so much wasted potencial in this device, that I just had to send here some suggestions and I would be thrilled to see at least some of them working.. Best Regards Pavel
  2. i have been eyeing the void wireless headset to replace my dying vengeance 1500, however one thing that I'm worried about is how secure the wireless connection is. is the connection encrypted or secured in any sort of manner, or is it sent unprotected to reduce latency? and if it is protected, how is the connection secured? i'm assuming pairing also shares an encryption key between the headset and the receiver, but i want to make sure. the reason I'm asking is I'm living in a college town apartment with decent access to tech, and if I've thought of it they've done it. also, is there a noticeable amount of latency during gaming and video playback? I've had Bluetooth headphones that lagged behind the screen and I don't want to repeat that experience. and does the void share some of the problems the vengeance series had, such as the ever present hissing and exaggerated volume? I've dealt with the hissing by muting 'line' and 'mic' as well as messing with drivers, but it would be nice to have a volume range bigger then 2 to 10. also, does it leak as much sound with the new ear cup design? and lastly, can i connect the headset directly to my PC or PS4? I'm assuming i cant since its not listed on the website, but if it is possible does it offer any improvements at all? and will it allow the volume buttons to work with the PS4? is the battery replaceable, or is the headset effectively junk when it dies? can it work without the battery? i definitely want a wireless headset, but i want to be aware of any shortcomings that come with it, as well if i can circumvent them when i don't use that functionality. thanks for taking time to read and answer!~
  3. We all know iCUE. But there are not enough many interesting functions in my opinion. I recently bought a Farbwerk Nano device from a small German company, Aqua Computer. Not an advertisement. Of course, their software has fewer functions than iCUE, but there are a number of interesting ones. 1. Their adapter, the easiest for rgb tape, can control 90 diodes. Less than node ligthning pro. But they have a farbwerk 360 version that supports 360 diodes, which is many times more than any corsair system, although a commander about a maximum of 120 diodes can be. 2. The program part is, in a sense, paid. When you purchase, you get free software updates for six months. Then your program simply stops receiving updates, but continues to work. A one year license renewal costs 10 euros. 3. Although not such a diverse system of editing effects. But there are those that I would like to see in iCUE. For example 4 types of sound analyzer. You can choose yourself what frequencies the spectrum analyzer will show which is very convenient. And also edit the frequencies you need to display yourself. Plus you can choose from which source to take the sound. 4. Ambient backlight as in NZXT ambient. (I also have it, but it’s a little difficult to configure there, and sometimes it’s buggy). You choose which section to capture its width and so on. How many diodes it will be used. As a result, for 30 euros you get a Farbwerk Nano with an addressable LED strip of 15 diodes. You can choose with external or internal connection, on this adapter there is a button for switching modes or off and a light sensor. But there is a nuance, not many profiles can be made and it is not completely possible to edit or create effects as in iCUE. They also have an expander as Splitty4, to which you can connect a Corsair cooler and manage them. Is it possible to have such functionality in iCUE? Music Visualisator options. Audio Filters Audio and Video settings Edit audio Filters Ambientpx = Ambient lightning.
