key_to_zion
Hello, I have a odd fan problem on my TX750. The fan refuses to run while the computer is drawing power, but after I turn it off it will proceed to turn the fan on and run for a few minutes after the PC is powered off. I assume that the problem comes from the fact that the PSU uses a thermal fan controller, and that this controller is somehow malfunctioning. I would like to know if there is a way to override the fan control and just have it run 100% all the time. I have a case fan pointing into the PSU cooling it now, so I can still function, but I would really like to get everything back in order. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 12, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 12, 2010 The fan should always be spinning, normally very slowly, but it should spin whenever the system is running. Let's get the PSU replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
