Naytars
Hi ! Since this morning, i have an annoying problem with my vengeance 2100 : when i plug the charging cable to a USB port, it makes a weird noise in the left ear, and it crashes my other USB ports, which are my keyboard and my mouse ! So, i can't use my Headset because it's out a battery and i can't charge it. I tried to plug it in different ports / PC and it doesn't work. So i think that it's coming from my cable or my power port, but i'm not sure and i don't want to buy a new chargin cable if the poblem is from the headset... Any ideas of where the problem is, and how to fix it ?
Toasted
Can you try charging the headset on another computer? Does it do the same thing? The cable is typical a microUSB to Type A cable, so you can use that if you have it on hand.
Naytars
Hi, As I said in the first post, I already tried it and it didn' work I also tried to disassemble the headset but i do not have the right screwdriver... BUT I think that the problem is coming from the power port. It makes now more than 3 years that I have this headset. Maybe it's time to change :(:
Naytars
Hi, It still not working... If anyone has an idea of why to share.. :c
Toasted
Unfortunately, i don't think there is much help that can be provided in the forums as the usual process is to get the headset replaced under warranty. But as your warranty has expired, You can take the headset to a repair technician to diagnose the issue or consider buying a new headset.
