fluffy66
Hi there had a set of these for quite a while 18 months i think . Picked them up one day and one of the headphone supports broke so it is now swinging freely. Returned then to the reseller under the rma process they have and was told by a corsair representative that the damage was caused by myself. I refuted this and upon searching i was led to this site and others where low and behold it seems i am not the only prson who has had this happen. So what are my options now? Is it a case of tough luck mate or do i have to find other ways to get a new set or my money back ? Many thanks for your time ....
Toasted
If you have the RMA number you can call customer service via phone and explain how the headset broke. You can call their Toll-free number using Skype.

bubo
My HS1A has just done the exact same thing after approx 18 months too. I have got and RMA and checked it will cost me £5.42 to send to Holland from the UK, will they refund postage to paypal or something? I actually work on stress analysis of fatigue failures, so it is clear to me why it failed where it did. A classic fatigue failure which a properly designed consumer device should never do in a realistic life of the product, let alone within the warranty period. Toasted
@fluffly66 Ask your retailer for the Case # so a rep can find your case # and problem. @bubo An normal RMA usually requires you to pay for shipping for the faulty product back to Corsair. Corsair will pay shipping for the replacement to you.
