Aarif
Hello everyone, I wanted to know if i connect corsair sp120 pro rgb fans to a fan hub, then connect the hub to a corsair commander pro, will i still be able to control the fan speed through icue software? NB:These fans have 3 pin power connectors, but the hub has 4-pin pwm headers. Thank you for your time.
LeDoyen
yes, the CoPro should auto detect what type of fan it is, otherwise you can specify manually if it's a 4pin PWM or 3 pin DC control. no worries Now using a fan hub.. not adviseable in 3 pin mode. it can quickly overheat the chip doing the voltage regulation. better to use DC fans alone on one header. PWM fans are OK to be used with powered PWM fan hubs tho
