  1. ARCTIC FREEZER II was the solution. Never buying a Corsair AIO again. 27C idle, 72C on hour stress test, quiet as can be, no stupid software. YEET, good riddance, I'm out.
  2. Literally no fixes work. This POS is getting returned. ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II is going in. No RGB bull**** is worth this big of a headache. Keep it simple, stupid. At least on the bright side for Corsair I had to upgrade my 450D case to an Air 540 to get this THICC radiator to fit.
  3. Yes, its recognized during installation and then it always disconnects whenever iCue starts. Luckily I can still return it to Amazon and avoid an annoying RMA.
  4. hmmm, you might be on to something, since I was using an old case I do have my front 2 fans powered by the commander core as the wiring is disorganized as it is. I'll disconnect them and see if that changes anything. Probably not, but worth trying. Still most likely a dud commander core or x570 issues. I miss my old non-RGB corsair cooler on my 6700K...simpler times.
  5. I don't think I've made it clear, I cannot detect it ever, never have, and looking like I never will. If I could create fan profiles out of the nether I would, but I can't because this thing has never been detected by iCue, just disconnected. Its all operational on default factory settings, but I cannot control it through software.
  6. Yes, all the fans and RGB are connected to the commander core and they are powered and work. I just cant control any of it as iCue has never been able to detect it as everytime iCue starts, it disconnects the USB. I'm suspecting its a commander core issue because if it was a motherboard issue, I don't know why it would change the RGB to static with the fan speed increasing. After updating bios I got my sleep option back and doing a sleep and awake clears the fan speed issue and static RGB.
  7. Well I'm happy you can detect it at all, however inconsistent. I tired the 3.34.161 version and that doesnt work. Nothing ever works lol
  8. I'm on AGESA 1.2.0.0, tried both gen 3, gen 4, and auto for onboard devices, and updated my AMD chipset with the most recent one from AMD. USB hub or no hub. Most up to date iCue. Still disconnecting on iCue startup on all permutations.
  9. The PCI-E 4.0 bug isn't an issue as I've set everything to gen 3 and it still didnt work. I even updated to 1.2.0.0 AGESA. Chipsets are all up to date, but now my RGB is static, my fans are at full blast on default, and I still can't detect the cooler...this continues to be a horrible experience for a premium product.
  10. First things first, this cooler has been an absolute nightmare in terms of getting any kind of control over it. iCue is completely broken with the cooler/motherboard combo and I have never been able to detect the stupid commander core as it always disconnects whenever I start up iCue. Overall, the cooler is performing just fine with my Ryzen 5800X at stock, especially since this CPU runs very hot by design. Now to the issue, just today, the radiator fans will kick into 100% speed for no reason. What's weird is that the LED sequence freezes to a static rainbow when this happens instead of the default dynamic rainbow. Restarting the PC does not fix the issue, only a shutdown does. The question is, is this another issue with the cooler or with my motherboard? The LED's freezing seems to point to the cooler again. I'm probably going to return it to Amazon while I can an avoid a PITA RMA.
  11. I can tell you right now a USB hub will NOT work for the x570 issues...
  12. Is the commander core disconnecting when you start up iCue? That's whats happening with my 5800X / ASUS x570. I even installed a NZXT USB hub and it still doesnt work.
  13. I bought an NZXT USB 2.0 hub as that was helping some people, but it STILL disconnects immediately on starting up the app, even with the newest 3.37 version. I'm about to return this.
  14. I know this has been posted countless times, but this seems to have been an issue for YEARS. I just bought a H115i Elite Capellix, theres some glitchiness I'm willing to overlook like the flickering corsair logo, but not being able to control anything connected to the Commander Core is driving me crazy. When I install iCue, I hear the USB connection sound. However, immediately upon starting iCUE it disconnects. It does not reconnect unless I restart and keep iCue from starting on start up. I've tried both USB headers and still the same result. Corsair has clearly made this too complicated for their muppet software devs. The cooler itself seems to be underperforming as well. I'm going to rip this thing out if I can't get a fix in a week or two. Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix x570-E Gaming
