  1. Initially after plugging the keyboard into my pc via USB, iCue stated there was a firmware update. My firmware was 5.11.xx. The update was for 5.13.xx. After following the instructions iCue gave, the update seemed unsuccessful because my keyboard became disconnected from iCue. The keyboard did not reconnect with iCue until I restarted iCue, and restarted the keyboard. I turned to online search: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/14066443517709-How-to-Fix-K100-Air-Firmware-Update-Wireless-Issues-with-5-12-76 I followed the instructions here exactly as they are stated, unplugging any unnecessary peripherals and turning off all unwanted software etc. Similar problems occur here where iCue doesn't even claim 'Update Failed" because it usually just boots the keyboard off iCue entirely. Although it did seem to successfully put firmware 5.9.68 on my device and NOT succeed at getting 5.12.76 on the device. In the user manual it states you can reset the device by holding 'esc' while turning on. While this flashes my keyboard lights slightly, it does not return my firmware back to 5.11.xx. Again I found these instructions online : https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/185213-k100-rgb-air-wireless-firmware-update-51380-installation-loop/ Also unsuccessful, but not sure if its because I can't get 5.12 loaded on the device. I have a support thingy with corsair, but it is a bit too slow for me as its been 1 week and I only get responses 48hrs after I respond. Also at times the keyboard disconnects from iCue and I have to quit it, and restart the keyboard... its a drag.
  2. Thanks for the fast response c-attack. Yes it does seem as though there is no where else fore the radiator to go. But why not simply attach the top ml120's to the aio fan headers, as both are pwm? Then place the 3 front sp120's to the mobo and set as dc, no need to move fans around. Or am I missing something.
  3. I recently payed for a PC build and was curious about my fan / cpu cooler setup. I noticed my H100i pro xt 's fan headers are connected to my DC front case fans (SP120)(case is 220T) rather than the ML120's that came with the cooler, which are installed on the top and back of the case. All my fans are set to DC on bios. I trust the builders more than what little I know, but was just curious why this is the setup. Does it have to do with the radiator being installed in the front with the sp120's? Thanks for indulging my curiosity.
  4. I have a 220t and thought i could just plop in 3 more rgb fans given those empty slots on my node core, but man its complicated. I dont really want to go the dual node route because the back of the 220t is small and I want to keep cables down. Same with the commander pro. So can I put 6 LL120's in the node core instead? (without having to add anything else) If not I guess I'll just add 3 more sp120 pros. (for a total of 6, on the 220t's node core) You can do this without having to add anything else, right? Thanks for any help, really appreciate it.
