  1. Right, I have scoured the internet; watched videos, ready forum posts, spoken to people in fb groups, the lot! And nowhere can I find an answer to this and it’s so frustrating that it made me cry last night. A year ago I bought the 220t RGB airflow case. It had 3 RGB fans already in the front plugged into a lighting node. So I put the rest of my pc parts in the case and been working fine. However the fans are so loud and my previous case had sliders to adjust the fan speed so it was quieter. I wanted to adjust the fan speed and read online you need a commander pro for it. So I saved up for one. Also upgraded my psu so I got a commander pro recently and installed it all again. Everywhere online said you don’t need a lighting node if you have the commander pro as it does both for you. However, upon turning my pc on after finishing putting it all together I open my iCUE and the fan speed says 0 even though the fans are running as they always have been but also the RGB lights in the fans weren’t on. And even though I tried to turn them on in the iCUE nothing happened. Questions: Have I plugged it in wrong? If so how can the fans be running at all? Do I need the lighting node and the commander pro? If I do why do people online say you don’t? FYI: I have NO RGB light strips. Just the RGB fans that came already in my case. I keep seeing videos on YouTube explaining this situation but with RGB strips and extra fans but that isn’t my situation and doesn’t help. Please please please can someone help?
  2. Can the Lighting Node CORE which came in my iCUE 220T RGB Airflow case support and control iCUE LS100 Smart Lighting Strip Expansions?
  3. I have a 220t and thought i could just plop in 3 more rgb fans given those empty slots on my node core, but man its complicated. I dont really want to go the dual node route because the back of the 220t is small and I want to keep cables down. Same with the commander pro. So can I put 6 LL120's in the node core instead? (without having to add anything else) If not I guess I'll just add 3 more sp120 pros. (for a total of 6, on the 220t's node core) You can do this without having to add anything else, right? Thanks for any help, really appreciate it.
  4. Hey, so I'm building a system for my girlfriend with the new RTX 30 series card, specifically the ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 3080 GAMING 10G. And my question is: Will it fit in the Corsair 220T case? I know that the clearance is 300mm and the card is 318mm, but from what I've seen with other long cards it should fit. Thanks for any replies! :sunglasse
  5. Can I fit 5700xt Nitro+ (306mm length) in 220T case with only front case fans installed and no radiator? Max GPU length is 300mm, according to the official specification on Corsair's site, however, it is not clear to me is this with the radiator or without? Is there anyone with this card in this case? Thanks
  6. Hello, I recently built a system in the 220t case, however I am going to purchase a 3080 when they are released and it seems they will not fit inside the 220t (I also have a front mounted radiator) and therefore am considering getting the 680x (my fault for not looking at dimensions originally). The 220t came with 3 SP120 fans and the 680x comes with 3 LL120 fans, and I read that you can't use the same RGB controller for two separate fan types. Would it be possible to remove the Lighting Node Core from my 220t and place it in the 680x and use that for one set of fans and the already installed one for the other set or is there a better way? Thanks in advance!
  7. I recently bought a 220T case that came with 3 SP120s and bought 1 more to go in the back of the case. This case came with a Lighting Node Core preinstalled with the fans already hooked up to ports 1-3. I bought a Commander Pro as well and have the 3 factory fans plugged into 1-3 on both the Commander Pro and Node, and they all work fine. However, the additional fan (pin 4 in both the pro and node) that I bought will spin, but not light up. I initially thought the fan's LEDs were the problem, but I am now having the same issue with another fan. My Node in iCUE is set to SP RGB PRO Series Fans, 4 Fans. I've gone through the Support pages but could not find anything to help. I've been messing with this for about two weeks and any help would be much appreciated.
  8. Hi, Just finished putting together my system and my lighting controller in my 220T isn't appearing in iCue. Everything else is showing up in my dashboard. The fans are all spinning fine, the front 3 are all lighting up with whatever default profile comes on them but the exhaust fan i bought separately isn't lighting up at all. Any ideas how to fix this?
  9. I've currently got Corsair's 175R Mid tower case which has been great so far. I was browsing around the Corsair website and found their 220T case which I think looks really nice. Now here's the thing, the 220T looks almost identical to the 175R save for the front panel, take a look for yourselves: https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categories/Products/Cases/Mid-Tower-ATX-Cases/Carbide-Series-175R-RGB-Tempered-Glass-Mid-Tower-ATX-Gaming-Case-%E2%80%94-Black/p/CC-9011171-WW https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categories/Products/Cases/Mid-Tower-ATX-Cases/iCUE-220T-RGB-Tempered-Glass-Mid-Tower-Smart-Case/p/CC-9011190-WW What I think corsair's done is just recycle the chassis of the 175R, add a new front panel and some RGB fans and call it a day. I've also found that Corsair sells a replacement front panel and bracket for the 220T. Now my question for 220T owners: Is it at all possible you could measure the peg distances on the front panel? I'm assuming it's removable but on my case there are three front panel pegs, It's 17cm from the top peg to the middle and 20cm from the middle to the bottom peg for a total distance of 37cm from the top peg to the bottom. If any 220T owners out there is willing to confirm these measurements It would be greatly appreciated!
  10. Hey guys, I'm in the middle of my first build using the Corsair 220T Case and I cannot find a place to plug in 3 cables labeled "TKG 2510" on my motherboard. The cables are coming from the front of the case leading me to believe they are for the fans. where should i plug them in? (or mabe they are not even supposed to be plugged is???) pls help
