Administrators Technobeard Posted September 19, 2013 Administrators Share Posted September 19, 2013 Please read the FAQ. It states: Q: How do I lock my Flash Padlock? A: Remove your Flash Padlock from the USB port. (LEDs will turn off) In addition, the forum is not an instant chat system. If you have a time sensitive question I would recommend calling us directly within our hours of operation: http://www.corsair.com/us/company/contact/
Pally1
Please read the FAQ. It states: In addition, the forum is not an instant chat system. If you have a time sensitive question I would recommend calling us directly within our hours of operation: http://www.corsair.com/us/company/contact/ That is incorrect Afte yo udo this procedure: 1. Unlock your Flash Padlock using the directions above 2. Once the drive is unlocked and the Green LED on the drive is blinking, press and hold the KEY button for 3 seconds. (Both red and green LEDs will illuminate) 3. Release KEY button 4. Press and release KEY button (Both red and green LEDs will blink in unison) 5. Press and release KEY button (Green LED will blink) Flash drive will no longer lock itself upon removal, but stays unlocked forever, and does not require any code entering. Is there any way to lock it again without going through the whole new key setting process? PS I cant call your customer support due to the fact that i live in Mordor. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 26, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 26, 2013 There's no other way. You need to re-do the user pin setup, plug it in to USB port, and remove it. The drive will be locked after the removal.
