Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted December 21, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 21, 2011 I would suggest you cancel the order and just look for TWIN2X4096-6400 at an authorized reseller. Purchases made from another user will not have our warranty.
Wired
Also, there's no way to guarantee that memory not packaged together will work together.
peanutz94
based on part number , is this gt mem? and is it Dual Channel ? is this SLI Ready mem ? Yes it is GT. But there is no such thing as dual channel memory. That is a function of the MB and why it will register as single, dual, ect depending on the number of sticks used That is basically the way it is packaged. The modules themselves may be used across may different platforms. Two sticks would be a dual channel kit. 4 sticks could theroetically be dual channel or quad. Same goes for SLI. Memory has no bearing on SLI what so ever. Also mixing two kits(yes even the exact same part number) can be a total crap shoot and is not a suggested or supported configuration. So two kits of the exact same memory have a great chance of not working with each other. You should buy a matched 8 gig kit from one single package.
