pneumagger
So when I look at the H50 i see the tobing is ribbed. Wouldn't it stand to reason that you would get MUCH better flow through a smooth walled hose than ribbed hose? Also, it seems there are no clamps holding the hose onto the radiator/pump barbs. Over time won't the polymer tubing creep and stress relieve... hurting the seal integrity? Is there some sort of inner tube I'm not seeing? I'll be installing my H50 when my AMD bracket gets here wednesday. I'll have an Antec 3 Speed and the corsair fan running push/pull. I'll be plugging it today to a 3 pin header and let the pump/fan run outside the case to test the seals for 24 hours before install.

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 18, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 18, 2009 The H50 is completely self contained and we have not seen any units have any problems with leaking.
Speedi
The tubing seems somewhat rigid, so I would guess that it's double-walled - but I am just guessing. I would also guess that the inside of the tube is not ribbed, but instead smooth.
Wired
Correct, one tube inside of another.
pneumagger
What's the word on lappng the surface of the block? Not that it's bad, about typical for any cooler.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 19, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 19, 2009 Should not be a problem to lap the block, but I haven't yet seen any numbers showing how much it would help.
