flupke
Vcore voltage is 1.34 volt. Is that low? Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 29, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 29, 2007 1.34 would be suggested for that CPU, but I would go ahead and try the newer BIOS just load setup defaults after you update it and then set the tested settings and Voltage and test with http://www.memtest.org with Legacy USB Disabled. flupke
Will do, and I will let you know. Test at both 800 and 1066 MHZ. What is the best way to set the memory to 1066. By setting SLI compliant memory with 0%, or make the change in the FSB speed setting by using unlinked? Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 29, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 29, 2007 I would try CPU 0% at 2.1 Volts but make sure and set CR/CPC to 2T manually and then test it if you have problems try it at CPU Max. But please load setup defaults before you make the changes.

Bios 0703 Memory 2.2 volt 5-5-5--15-2t USB legacy disabled CPU 0% on SLI capable mem Memtest locks up on test #5 Bois 0703 Memory 2.2 volt 5-5-5-15-2t USB legacy disbaled CPU MAX on SLI capable mem Memtest locks up on test #5 In other words it will not run at 1066 Mhz Thank you
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 29, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 29, 2007 Did you test the modules one at a time to make sure its not one of the modules? Or does it do the same with either module? If it does the same with either module I would suggest getting the MB checked/replaced. Other wise we can try replacing the modules if you like, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them.
flupke
I tested them with both installed at the same time. Let me try with one at the time. In which slot should I install them? A1 or B1 Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 29, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 29, 2007 Check the manual but I think its slot B1 if only one module is installed.
flupke
Tested one module at the time in B1 Bios 0703 5-5-5-15-2t volt 2.2 usb legacy disabled SLI ready memory CPU 0% (1066) First module: Pass replaced module by second Second module: test #5 24576 errors test #8 errors climb to 55296 pass1 test #5 errors climb to 322560 test #8 errors climb to 354304 pass2 I assume this tend to say that the second module is problematic and the memory should be exchanged? Let me know Ramguy. Thanks
