CORSAIR VOID ELITE RGB Wireless Headset Equalizer + Surround 7.1 not working after automatic iCUE update

Recommended Posts

Seems like the recent iCUE update has done something to the Void Elite Wireless headset. I updated my iCUE software from an automatic update and, after restarting also updated Windows 11 (just a typical Windows update) and now the Equilizer, Surround, etc. are not working. I also updated my NVidia GPU drivers, so hard to pinpoint which of these has pissed it off.

I dug through some similar forums where people had issues with W11 H22 something or another but I doubt that's the issue as it was almost a year ago fixed. I tried several of the solution attempts people suggested but have had no luck.

I have tried:

  • repairing iCUE
  • forcing the headset to firmware update in iCUE
  • uninstalling and reinstalling the headset in Device Manager
  • re-installing the drivers (ensuring they were correct)
  • enabling/disabling Windows sound effects
  • Trying different Windows sound settings/parameters

Anyone else having trouble with their headsets following this update?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or comments.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I have the same headphones and for me icue crashes every time I try to open the equalizer. Lighting and such works fine.

Like you, I have tried all of your list and it still crashes, when opening the equalizer.
