Ludi
Hello, I bought 4x The Corsair LL120 and now I ask myself the following question: Do I also need Corsair LED fan hub control and Corsair Commander PRO to change the RGB and speed? Solution c-attack Posted December 14, 2022 Solution Share Posted December 14, 2022 All Corsair RGB fans need a RGB controller. They do not work with the different shaped motherboard 5v headers. Lighting Node Core and Lighting Node Pro RGB controllers come in multipacks of LL fans (3x120 or 2x140) and one is all you need. However, if you want fan speed control as well, then you need a different type of controller. Corsair fan speed controllers are the Commanders. If you have a least one multipack of the LL fans, then the Commander Pro is an option. This is an older controller that uses the RGB Lighting Hubs as fan boosters and has a few more options. If you did not get any multipacks and DO NOT have a RGB Lighting Hub, then you need the Commander Core XT. This is a 6 fan PWM and RGB combo controller with an extra RGB channel for strips, 2 temp sensors, and 1 USB passthrough. This is the best choice for most new users.
