Dark Core RGB Pro not fully charged before its first use - will that affect the battery lifespan?

As the title says (I didn't read the manual and started using my mouse right away after unpacking it).

No, the mouse will spend the bulk of its lifespan somewhere between 0-99% charged.  It will be like any other rechargeable battery and excessive charging is more likely to be detrimental.  Using it at less than 100% will not.  It will always be in that state.

 

I am not sure where the warning comes from, but my educated guess it so users are not profoundly disappointed on the first use --  "Hey, this thing on lasted 6 hours!"  --- when it was only at 50% charge.
