PhoenixJames
I just bought the RM850i, i'm getting parts together for my first build. Me being a bit fancy spent a couple extra quid instead of simply getting the RM850X. Reading the instructions to see how I actually link the psu and apparently i need some kind of converter to convert an analog signal to a digital signal, and "Corsair Link" is now apparently out of date. Can someone please clarify this for me and offer me advice? Is iCue the new corsair Link? and is my psu compatible still? Ie can i still have the full functionality of the psu? LeDoyen
iCUE replaced link a few yeas ago yes. It's USB. There should be a USB to motherboard USB header cable in the packaging. just connect, open iCUE and voilà
Corsair Employees Corsair Elito Posted February 8, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 8, 2021 @ Phoenix You will have a fully functional PSU, just make sure that if you installed Link to completely remove it because it will conflict with iCUE, and make your PSU undetectable.
