Zotty
It's about time they had bigger RGB Fan LED Hubs,, say 8 ports? and indeed sold RGB extension cables :)

apistodave
HI Guys Front fans are in. so. firstly.. RGB extension cables are very much needed if you want those RGB Fan LED Hubs hidden away. http://i.imgur.com/3P7sJ2ol.jpg I recommend around 20cm in length. cables made by DevBiker Starting to get somewhere in the back now http://i.imgur.com/rb9zqvHl.png and minimal cables on show in the front. http://i.imgur.com/Q9YodMCl.jpg i ran all the cables from the outer fans down the gap between the outer and inner fans and then along the bottom of the inner fans.. I also used Corsair PWM extension cables and 2 'y' splitters on the Commander Pros channels 5 and 6 so i have all from fans on one Commander Pro. http://i.imgur.com/qnrklizl.png Why not go six on one fan controller and two on the other? Zotty
because i wanted front RGB/RPM controlled on one CoPro and top/rear on another... keeps things easier to manage in icue. as for the RGB Fan LED hubs.. that was the best way for sequential effects,,,

gutcheck
they plug in here http://i.imgur.com/hANkZEY.jpg Zotty, is there an extra wire for this or did you have to unplug your front IO pannel and daisy chain them? If there is a separate wire, I can't find mine.... may have smashed it behind the rad....
gutcheck
I looped my four strips around the front. I died a little. MORE RGB!!!!!!!!!!

gutcheck
Hey Zotty how did you hook up your strips coming from the front IO? Did you basically loop them around the case and hook em back into the IO?
Zotty
IO and sails logo should be plugged in.. you just plug strips into the hanging socket up front.. they daisy chain from there.... iirc. from the CoPro. it goes sails/io/strips.... gutcheck
Was afraid of that. Can’t find my dongle. Had to unplug the IO which means it’s stuck backs there behind my rads. Oh well. One more drain....

gutcheck
Yes! They are in! My doors closed!!! The cable that splits a lighting node is absolutely awesome. I configured it so it skips “rows”. It’s sick. I’ll post vids...
HighOctane81
Hi, hope you don't mind me jumping in in your thread. Could I hook up to the i/o pass through with a rgb hub? Would save me buying another commander pro. So i/o to 1st rgb commander pro port as per factory. 1st rgb fan hub to 2nd commander pro port and then the 2nd rgb fan hub to the i/o pass through with the other set of 4 front fans. I'd then have all front fans and I/o working from the 1000D commander pro. Does thag make sense?
