Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 14, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 14, 2005 Art, I would suggest 4 sets of VS2GBKit400C3 or Twinx2048-3200 to get 8 gigs! However, we have not tested this system, and I am hesitant to suggest it. You might check with Apple to make sure there aren’t any issues with 8 gig of Ram. Mr. Ram Guy: I have 2 Mac G5 dual 2.5GHz cpu units and I only plan to put 4 GB of ram into each unit. I don't think that the quantity should be an issue as the computer is designed to house 8GB. So how many VS2GBKit400C3 or Twinx2048-3200 should go into each computer to add up to a total of 4GB per unit? Art Ross
Yellowbeard
Each kit is 2 1gb sticks. So, 2 2048mb kits for each puter and they will each have a total of 4 sticks in them. Mike.
