Dust filters

I like to wash them out with warm water then dry them as best I can by patting with some paper towels. I say pat because you don't want to rub them as the paper will rub off into the filters in some cases. Then I use a nice Datavac Electric Duster I have that blows clear any residual water out of those things in a few seconds. :P

That DataVac is one of the best things I ever bought. Works so much better than any air can and air pressure for cleaning out cases is awesome. Only thing you have to do is let it cool off from time to time and clean the filters.

Usually wash mine with water from a faucet after gently wiping the excess dust off with a microfiber towel. Kitchen or bathroom sink for quick clean, or outside if I'm doing a full case blowout with an air compressor. Try to keep water pressure low so it won't stretch the element and let larger dust particles in the case. Same procedure recommended for cleanable air filters for car and home HVAC systems.
