Schwitz
So based off of a suggestion in another thread I decided this was at the very least, an amusing way to use the keyboard. Name: Pacman http://i.imgur.com/ihWD6z6.gif Description: Pacman gets chased across the keyboard to the right by Blinky, eating those delicious dots as he goes! Administrators Technobeard Posted October 18, 2014 Administrators Share Posted October 18, 2014 I... I have no idea where I would even begin to do DK. Red row at the top and bottom. Barrel rolling through. Pretty similar to the PacMan layout actually.

Oh yea, that'd work pretty well. As soon as he said Donkey Kong though I imagined trying to get a 4x4 jump man (Mario) sprite to look good hahaha. eclark5483
I'm thinking I'm gonna set this up on my MAME emulator with hyperspin. Does anyone know if profile switching would work when selecting different games? The Hyperspin/Mame executable would always be the same, it's just the rom set that would change. I already did a custom version of Hyperspin a while back for my son (see video demonstration), I'm wondering if maybe I programmed it to run a batch file for profile switching depending on the game if that would work. I haven't even attempted any sprite work myself on the k70, been too busy at work with overtime. If anything, I'd like to at least attempt to recode it to play different sprites according to the game selected on the wheel. If I can manage that, then I'll attempt some sprites of my own. Although, something tells me, this might crash the CUE or Hyperspin. [ame=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWfdAzHyZUY]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWfdAzHyZUY[/ame] . . rgblopu
Photoshop :greengrin man you're aussie! I'm aussie haha, from melbourne. I tried the pacman profile using the schematics you made, **** is ****ed, in 40 minutes I made it about 8 keys through horizontally. I was using gradient for each key set at 10 seconds and then using half a second as a kind of 'tick' measurement, but idk I kept making dumb mistakes and I ballsed it up. Yourname942
how do you follow that grid when the key's on the keyboard are skewed?
rgblopu
how do you follow that grid when the key's on the keyboard are skewed? You just give each key a number from the left horizontally and work like that

I'm from Adelaide :sunglasse First of all you have to work out how many 'frames' you want the animation to go through. Divide up the space there into your frames, Then all the time does is decide how much time between each frame. Also, for pixel stuff, use solid. Its wayyy faster :greengrin how do you follow that grid when the key's on the keyboard are skewed? You just give each key a number from the left horizontally and work like that Yea, pretty much Start at the top and follow the column down, the top of the Pacman open mouth sprite is actually skewed to make up for it.
