k70 rgb All keys are working except one key?

I buy a new Corsair K70 RGB at "Frys Technology". I come home and plug it in and adjust the lighting to my liking. A few minutes in playing games, I notice that the Q key is not working. (Typing this on another device). The keyboard is brand new. Could the problem be the key being physically broken or somethings wrong with the program? :sigh!:

Try creating a new profile in CUE, select it as default and see if the Q key works in it.

I'm in the CUE how can I select it as default?

hm... I tried jamming the key really hard and it worked. But it only works when I jammed the key with a lot of force. Should I return?

Yes, definitely return it. 100% defective Q key. Hard to say if its a physical switch defect or a bad solder connection but either way it's not something you can fix.

 

Having to use force to get a key to activate is 100% a faulty switch.

The keys should register a key *Every* time the switch is pressed HALFWAY down, meaning you should not even have to ever bottom out to get the key to work.
