colesdav
Hello. I have a Corsair Void RGB Wireless Headset which is less than 1 year old. I like the RGB lights, and I think the Audio Quality is o.k. ... except no left/right balance. I do not use the Microphone at all, as I feel it is pretty useless, with really poor audio quality. I just keep the mike muted and the microphone stalk in the vertical position. The headset looks like brand new and really has been treated with care. However, despite not using the Microphone at all, the Rubber Microphone Stalk has cracked just above the base of the stalk at the side of the left earcup and now hangs off the side of the headset. I just tried to repair it using Loctite Superglue, but no luck. It does not work. Does anyone out there know what type of glue works on the rubberised Microphone on the VOID RGB Headset? Maybe it is made so you cannot glue / repair it? Thanks.
Toasted
It may be best to replace it via warranty, but i'm not 100% sure whether or not Corsair will accept it after a attempted repair. If you want to give it a go, Submit a ticket to Corsair and take a picture of the broken microphone boom. https://corsair.secure.force.com/ If not, You'll probably want to look into glue that is suitable for rubber and prepare the surface e.g. small groves to allow it to bond better.
