Had the exact same problem as the OP.

Headphones worked fine for around 3 weeks, then I decided to charge them so I could use them later (without receiving the low battery warning), came back and found them stuck with the blue and amber lights constantly on.

Will try discharging them, but has someone managed to find out what makes the headphones enter this stuck-mode? If it only happens once, I can deal with it, but if it starts happening often, it would be a real pain (and it's not easy for me to ask for a replacement, since I live in Argentina.)

Will update the post if/when something happens, I appreciate any possible information anyone can provide.

EDIT: solution worked for me too.

I have the same problem as OP. I turned my computer on while the charging cord was connected and it blinked amber as it should. When I tried to turn the headphones on, the blue light came on (solid, not blinking) and remained that way. I unplugged the charging cord and the amber light turned solid. I'm discharging it now.

EDIT: Disconnecting the wireless dongle causes the blue light to go out. Discharging and recharging the headset fixed my problem.

Same problem. Solid blue and amber lights... Can't use the headset. Love you Corsair, but I'm fairly disappointed.

Discharge the battery and fully recharge it.

If this has happened multiple times, request an RMA to replace the headset.

Try the solution suggested. Did you let it fully charge before using it?

I've had the headset for a couple of months now, and I've experienced it 4 times now, I've let the battery drain every time it happens, but as I wait now, I'm getting frustrated because I know the headset is fully charged and I was looking forward to listening to music while I work...
this, and the fact that plugging in (and out) the mini-USB while the headset is on, makes it turn off really annoys me.
I fully charge and fully deplete the headset at least once every week, so this shouldn't be the problem.

If you're constantly getting it, submit a RMA so we can get you an exchange. Let me know your case number when you complete it.

It's been 3 weeks since the last time it happened, so I guess it's not worthy of an RMA-case. If I was to submit an RMA-case it should be going through the RMA-system of the danish vendor I bought it from, and I'm not sure if they know about said bug

PS: the battery depleted, so I'm happy once again

Angry Same problem (solid Blue & Amber)

Same issue here. Letting it drain...
Surely this is a reproducible problem for you guys at Corsair.
Have you figured out what is causing this, and is there any way to work around it?

Same problem here now. First time this has happened to me and I've had the headset around 8-9 months now.

Surely it's quite a big flaw that there is no hard reset / power off button on the headset itself? Now I've got to sit and wait for it to drain, which could take 10-14 hours..

Same problem here. Used the V2000 for two weeks without problems. I noticed in this thread that some ppl have this problem while using Teamspeak 3. Not sure if TS has anything to do with it but I was running TS as well when it happened.

Is there a way to speed up the draining of the battery?

It would be great to hear from support if a (driver) solution is in the making. Perhaps support can make a sticky post about this issue since it seems a lot of people are having the same problem.

We haven't been able to repeat it. The only time I've ever seen this happen personally is when the headset was left on in use without being charged and the battery was drained completely. We're still monitoring for the issue though.

Question It happend to me too :O

Just I just opened it, so right out of the box... the headset wasn't working.
so I plugged it in and let it charge the entire night (aprx. 10 hrs).
The charger-indicator is still amber (solid) and the blue light is still solid whenever the dongle is connected.

should I let it drane?
and how should I do it? it would take years, since it barely ae using battery.

Thanks

Yes, drain the battery.

Disconnect the charging cable and let it drain by itself.
