aditya90
Hi, I bought a Thinkpad edge e430 which will reach me next week. I wanted to increase the RAM in it to 16gb. it is coming with the default 4gb The proc and included ram are:- Intel Core i7-3612QM 4 GB PC3-12800 DDR3 (1 DIMM) I had a few queries about the same? 1. I read online that the maximum supported RAM was 8 gb, but while I was customising it, there was the option of a 16 Gb upgrade. This seemed out of order a little, so wanted to make sure. 2. Can you give me a few links to the supported RAM modules for this? Thanks Aditya

(CMSX8GX3M2A1600C9) or (CMSX4GX3M1A1600C9)
aditya90
I can use the corsair 4gb ram with the lenovo 4gb ram right to get a total of 8 gigs? There won't be any problems because of that?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 7, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 7, 2012 I would suggest using (CMSX8GX3M2A1600C9) and not mixing memory if that is what you are hinting at.
