Zotty
This will not work with iCUE. Corsair has standardized around Addressable RGB, this is apparently a 12v Analog RGB from what I have read. It was used with the old Commander Mini, which is not supported in iCUE. If you had the proper pinout, you could in theory use this on the motherboard analog RGB header. I have been working on a RGB DAC to allow the control of Analog LEDs through a digital controller. Still in the works and have some prototypes. This is how I plan to control my analog RGB devices with iCUE. Wrong version dude...... There are 2 models.. you are on about the old one. the new one is fully addressable and works fine set up as a strip ;) https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/Dominator-Airflow-Platinum-RGB-Fan/p/CMDAF2 Dominator Airflow Platinum RGB Fan vs https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/PC-Components/Memory/DOMINATOR%C2%AE-Airflow-PLATINUM-LED-Fan/p/CMDAF DOMINATOR® Airflow PLATINUM LED Fan Edited December 12, 2018 by Zotty
DevBiker
There are 2 models dude.. you are on about the old one....... It would be less confusing if they didn't have almost the exact same name. It's like the H100i ... how many different variations are all called the H100i??? skavan
actually, in my testing it is better to set it as the HD RGB Fan (12 LED's) vs the Strip (10 LED's). ..because i think it actually has 12 LED's.
