k70 lux rgb Perm wrong color lights after spill

I spilled some ginger ale on the right side of the keyboard most of the keypad but maybe all the way over to the 9 key. I unplugged and cleaned it up pretty well, or so I thought. Because there weren't any sticky keys and all the colors worked fine, except now half of the keypad and the nine key all permanently display the wrong color. When the keys are white the problem keys are purple. I have used alcohol to clean inside the keys before and when I plugged it back in and turned it on they were white and then a few hours later turned purple again. Any advice for cleaning at this stage?
