2 out of 4 Dominators give error with MemTest

After having lot of problems with my system, i started to test my memory modules with memtest.

I have 4 * CM2X1024-8500C5D (Dominator) running at 2.2V as mentioned on the modules.

I've put each module in the same slot of the mainboard (Asus Commando), and 2 came out with lot of errors.

Can they be replaced ?

kind regards,

Alex

I have recieved 2 new Dominators, but those are a newer version (4.1) then those i still have in my pc (1.2)

The newer ones run at 2.1V and those i have at 2.2V. Now what ? Let them all run at 2.1 or at 2.2V?

kind regards,

Alex

With 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR667 or DDR800 and set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
