Yellowbeard
How have you determined that this is caused by the PSU?
jchambers2586
How have you determined that this is caused by the PSU? when I plugged the speakers directly in to the psu the noise was there. Then I pluged them in to a cell phone charger that puts out 5 volts then the noise went away.

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 24, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 24, 2010 The buzzing would not indicate any premature chance of failure or risk of damaging any components, its purely cosmetic. If at any time you would like to replace the PSU, you can Request an RMA, but the buzzing is not always caused by the PSU itself. This Thread will help you narrow down a few possibilities for the buzzing.
