Anzu
Anyone else encountered problems with the corsair sp2500 lacking midrange? It sounds like everything below 2k hz or so is extremely faded out. I have no eq on. Any suggestions on what I could try to fix it? I recorded this quick video to show the difference between the Klipsch 2.1 and the corsair. Now mic quality is bad but even then there is night and day difference. The klipsch just hands down sounds a lot better and clearer because it's not missing any of the midrange. Speakers is the Klipsch 2.1 Realtek HD Audio 2nd Output are the Corsair's [ame] [/ame]
no1yak
Unfortunately the SP2500 has been discontinued for some time now. You have two options , one find an audio engineer, or two scrap it. I have the same speakers, purchased when they first came out and the only thing I've had to replace was the control module. Taking a stab in the dark, it could be the control unit. Have you tried setting different options in the control module? You might be able to find one on ebay but, that's no guarantee that is the problem.
