anonymousishish Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 This combination of motherboard and keyboard was causing all attached USB devices to freeze, very briefly, on Windows 8.1. My solution was to disable EHCI and XHCI handoff in the latest BIOS. While I am hopeful my solution is useful to someone else, I would actually like to understand why this worked, if possible.
