  1. Please answer these two basic question: 1) Should I use my Corsair peripherals on USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 ports? I currently have all but the mouse & keyboard connected to an internal USB 3.0 card, but I'm thinking about getting a Mini ITX mainboard next, so I would have to switch to a USB hub because of the sheer number of ports needed. The following items are the external part of my setup: Corsair iCUE LS100 Smart Lighting Strips; 2 Starter Kit + extensions Corsair iCUE LT100 Smart Lighting Towers Corsair Ironclaw Wireless RGB Corsair K95 RGB Platinum Corsair MM700 RGB Extended Corsair MM800C Polaris RGB Corsair VOID PRO RGB wireless (Dolby 7.1) -white- Elgato Stream Deck. 2) When I update my Mouse it always tells me to connect directly to the computer and not a HUB. I'm currently using it on a USB cable, but would love to use it with a short cable and/or the wireless dongle instead; which would fit perfectly into the USB port of either of my 2 mousepads. Is there any reason I shouldn't / Is the connection directly to the computer only needed for updates? Thanks for your time! (PS: I know, I know... "That's a lot of lighting, Carys.". Well, to quote Bachman-Turner Overdrive: "You ain't seen nothing yet". That's just the stuff that needs USB PC ports :sunglasse.)
  2. I'd like to piggyback on this post I recently switched from 2 60hz monitors to two LG 27GL83A. I have 2 LS100 starter kits; one for each monitor (one also has an extension plugged in). On the secondary monitor I have set the Lighting to "Fireplace" On the primary monitor I have channel 1 set to Video Lighting (channel 2, the extension is set to "Fireplace") I can select the monitor from the pull down menu, and sometimes it works for a while when I watch videos or something, but at some point it always just freezes. iCue doesn't say anything is wrong, but the light strips just get stuck at the last frame they understood, I think. I can delete the "Video Lighting" & add a new effect & it works again for a while, but sooner or later, there'll be the next hiccup. It's quite annoying. It usually gets triggered when I play games, so I was wondering if it has anything to do with my 144hz/WQHD & if there's help on the way.
  3. Seconded? I got an LG 27GL850 and an LG 27GL83A. When GSync is on, video lighting works on neither of them. When GSync is off, video lighting works on the LG 27GL83A (set as my primary monitor), but not on the other. Please fix this?
  4. Okay, so it's 09/2020 and this thread is old as balls (still 1st when googling this problem. You'd think this would mean that it was solved & doesn't occure anymore), but still... it just happened to me? Out of the blue, first time. The MM800 RGB Polaris went full static colour red. I checked the current profile in iCue and that showed the preview window in static red, but the Lighting Effect the same as usual for my set profile. I tried to set a new lighting effect in the profile, on top of the "real" one (regular default 'rainbow') but nothing changed. I switched through my profiles & the MM800 stayed red throughout. I unplugged the hardware & thought that might reset it, but it didn't. I then restarted iCue and that did the trick, but honestly... wtf?
  5. I've got a brand new Corsair K95 RGB Platinum and basically the same problem... at some point, I try to lower the volume via the wheel and it suddenly goes up to 100 with no way of turning it down, even if I use my mouse to directly drag the Windows audio output. It just turns back to 100%. If I close iCue my keyboard becomes completely unresponsive. When I open iCue again after that it only shows the device with a red warning sign & I can't access it. I then have to unplug it & plug it back in and everything's fine. @support I'd very much like to know when there'll be a permanent fix implemented in iCue, because last time it happened was the middle of the night & I'm pretty sure my neighbours were woken up by my music suddenly blaring at 100%.
