  1. I'm no expert, but it doesn't look like the PSU on the product page or in reviews: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/psu/cp-9020200-na/rmx-series-rm850x-850-watt-80-plus-gold-fully-modular-atx-psu-cp-9020200-na

    A cursory look:

    • No beveled edges
    • seams under side logos don't match
    • no labels for the ports, and the ports don't match the configuration. There's also 1+4 odd vent holes (?) next to the ports
    • fan grate and back grate holes are hexagonal instead of triangles
    • looking at the information label side, the screw holes don't match what's on reviews, and the label's in the wrong place.

Maybe this site could help someone
I have used this site a few times without issues, but it's your risk if you use it 🙂

Wouldn't recommend downloading from 3rd party site when it's available on our site.

As it states in the release notes, the download for 5.x is just an installer. So running any of the 5.x install files on that site would just download the latest version.

With the latest update to iCUE, we have changed how iCUE will be installed and updated. With iCUE’s new modular infrastructure, it will no longer consist of a single large package. Instead, users will be downloading a very small installer that, when started, will uninstall existing versions of iCUE and automate the downloading and installation of the necessary modules.

  3. Looks like the latest version of iCUE (5.14.93) that was released day starts to support Govee products:

    • iCUE now supports a limited number of Govee products. This allows users to detect and control Govee products in iCUE to synchronize with all iCUE-compatible devices. Features like per-LED lighting and iCUE Murals are compatible with Govee devices in the iCUE ecosystem. This feature can be found in Settings > Integrations:

      • For proper setup of Govee devices with iCUE, please follow the Setup Wizard exactly as described. You will need to enable LAN Control in your Govee mobile application as a part of the setup process.
      • The following products are supported in our initial release of Govee support:
        • RGBIC Pro Strip Lights
          • H619A - 5m
          • H619B - 7.5m
          • H619C - 10m
          • H619D – 27.5m
          • H619E – 210m
          • H619Z - 3m

          • H61A0 – 3m
          • H61A1 – 2m
          • H61A2 – 5m

        • Glide Hexagon Light Panels
          • H6061
      • Additional Govee products will be supported in future iCUE releases

  4. Software Enhancements
    • One of the newest features (and changes in the user interface) is the implementation of Device Memory Mode
    • image.png.d1c2712715c8c5761a86f8eeba2ccc65.png
    • Device memory mode allows a product to be configured in iCUE in the ‘hardware state’. Previous iterations of iCUE require you to quit iCUE in order for a device to work in the hardware state. Hardware states for our devices allow for device behavior without a dependency on iCUE running in the background. Examples of hardware states include the color of lighting on your Fans and Coolers under ‘Hardware Lighting’ or Hardware Key Assignments for your mouse and keyboard.
    • When enabling Device Memory Mode, you can now customize your devices with the same hardware configurations without quitting iCUE to view the changes. This will make it easier for you to view and save your changes as you configure your devices
    • image.png.9b253de0618eecc220e4e0170e2d852f.png
    • Device Memory Mode does not change options (and their limitations) in the hardware state but it allows users to manage their configurations in a clearer and more accessible method.
    • iCUE now supports a limited number of Govee products. This allows users to detect and control Govee products in iCUE to synchronize with all iCUE-compatible devices. • H6061
      • Additional Govee products will be supported in future iCUE releases
    • Viewing profiles are no longer collapsable – they are now shown vertically for easier edits
    • Updated CPUID SDK to the latest version
    • HARPOON PRO will now properly show up as a device in Murals
    • Resolved some issues with modules not properly uninstalling when deleted
    • Resolved an issue that prevented the NVIDIA BROADCAST’s “Learn More” hyperlink from opening correctly
    • Toggling Lighting Layers will no longer cause the selection to auto-select the last layer
    • iCUE LINK Hydro Coolers in White will now show the proper image in Murals
    • Profile names can no longer be blank

  5. It says:

    Ships from: Amazon.com
    Sold by: Amazon.com

So yeah, it'll be an authentic part.

Here's the part page for the cable: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/pc-components-accessories/cp-8920334/premium-individually-sleeved-12-4pin-pcie-gen-5-12vhpwr-600w-cable-type-4-red-black-cp-8920334

That cable's listed as an accessory on the PSU's part page (under More To Consider), so you're good to go: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/psu/cp-9020201-na/rmx-series-rm1000x-1000-watt-80-plus-gold-fully-modular-atx-psu-cp-9020201-na

Under Tech Specs the PSU shows that the Cable Type is Type 4. The cable product page states it's a Type 4 cable. So you're doubly good to go 🙂 There's also the PSU Cable Compatibility chart to check out.

Where did that notation come from?

Looks like from a Quora post from a couple of years ago.

I read it in a forum post and then I noticed that Corsair really did or use to sell exhaust fans, so I started rethinking it. I think that might be for a power supply - I wasn't really sure. Everything I've ever seen before were just identical to the other fans in the system. That's what I'm going to do so I believe your right.  If I see a deletion option later- I'll probably delete the whole post. When I contacted corsair, they basically said the same thing - turn it around and let it rip. Thanks. -

    120mm Exhaust Fan (corsair.com)

That's an exhaust fan for old cases that aren't made anymore.

The link you gave me is a knowledge base.  I searched for my issue and didn't find it.  You said to create a support ticket but gave me a link to a knowledge base.  On a thread about a keyboard I don't even use anymore, because it was also broken, and I never got support for that one either.

Looks like they updated the UI a bit. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see links to create a support ticket for troubleshooting or warranty exchange.

Hello, I’m just having some huge issues with this website. I don’t know how bad emoji got there and I’m still missing a bunch of other system specs that I wanted to put up but the stupid thing keeps giving me errors not impressed corsair

What was the error you saw on the forum?

If you go to your profile page, you can add your system specs in the System Specs area, and then add the system to your posts.
