Nerdface Killah
I have 3 separate profiles and it seems like for some reason or another I keep encountering certain times where the keyboard will stop recognizing its keys. I can kill the Corsair software via task manager and it'll recognize the first keystroke I use but that seems to automatically start the software up again which in turns stops the keys from being recognized. Is there anything I can try or check as far as updates go?
Toasted
What do you mean by "stop recognizing it keys"? The main keyboard or the G-KEYS you have assigned to macros/keystroke? If the G-KEYS, are you using the application assigned feature for the profiles for games?
Nerdface Killah
Every single key on my keyboard ceases to stop working, a-z, 0-9, number pad, f keys, space bar, windows key, alt, ctrl, del, end, home, page up, page down, esc, caps lock, shift, enter, backspace, up, down, left, right arrows - they ALL cease to work until I either kill the Corsair software process - but once I hit a key, any key, it will work on that initial key press but that key press re-activates the software and then kills all key strokes after that. Oh yeah, none of the G/macro keys work either.
NothinPersonal
Have you tried uninstalling the software, running ccleaner, and then download/reinstall the Corsair software again? That would probably rule out one of the two things: either the keyboard is bad or the software that you've installed has a bug in it.
Nerdface Killah
Yes, I tried uninstalling the software, re-installing my operating system, and the same thing occurs.
cakes
Bad solution but you can probably rename the software executable so when the keyboard tries to start it up again it can't find it.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 10, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 10, 2013 Have you tested the keyboard on a different machine? This would rule out a hardware issue with the USB ports and if it is the keyboard thats giving you issues, we can replace it.
