Hello,

http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-neutron-gtx-series-120-gb-ssd-internal-hard-drive-cssd-n120gbgtx-bk/p/itmdcvuxzjaynh6g?pid=IHDDCVQDPTZVYCQ2

it clearly says that it has a 5 year corsair india warranty..

Suppose my ssd dies within an year.. can someone tell me how should i claim my warranty, where should i go?

I am from india.. and ill be purchasing in india.

Thanks..

You would go back to your reseller and they will normally take care of you but you would need to clarify that with them, or you can apply from an RMA directly with us but you would have to ship the failed part to one of our Hub's either In Taiwan or The Netherlands.

Wow great service.. you should stop selling in india altogether.. or you should advertise this statement of yours along with your warranty statement!..

though you are not false advertising.. but you are hiding an important fact that you might not care but the consumer surely does.. so this is in essence equal to false advertising...

Ill stay away from corsair... intel provides what i need.

goodbye!

P.S and for your kind information flipkart does not support in sending the item back to you... i confirmed this form flipkart..

what are you even talking about? the warranty on that page clearly says "carry in" as the type of warranty so you have the 5 yr warranty through them.

if not than that IS false advertising on their part.

your response is unwarranted and unsupported IMHO.

sorry.

just for the record, Corsair DOES have service centers in india!

In India Corsair has tied up with Kaizen Infoserve Pvt Ltd to provide authorized RMA services across 23 centers nationwide for the entire range of CORSAIR products.

Yes i read its carry in.. but read the previous reply from RAM GUY.. carry in to taiwan or netherlands.. noway.. thank you so much

and, have you visited the sites that u posted??

Inspan Infotech http://www.inspaninfotech.com Under construction.

Tirupati Enterprises http://www.tirupati.net redirects to:

http://www.overclockerszone.com/about_us.php

query site:overclockerszone.com corsair warranty

one irrelevant result!

and the kobian site... i dont know what that company is doing...

query this on google.com

"site:kobian.com corsair warranty" NO RESULTS

from where have you copied all this?

yes for Kaizen Infoserve Pvt Ltd i found this:

http://www.kaizeninfoserve.com/news.htm

which says of the warranty support for corsair but the there is no mention of ssds and the news is too old ..2009 and above all you will have to deal with a 3rd party.. and they might not be proffesionals as corsair itself can be.

i ll be better off with intel that has authorised centres in india and whose support can call me up to clearify in simple words that intel supports warranties anywhere in the world irrespective of the place of purchase and he even clearified that if the ssd fails within the warranty.. they will replace the product and not think of repairing it.. as it is not feasable to repair most ssds.

sitting in fremont CA and thnking these 3rd parties in india would support without giving consumer the frustration is not justifiable.. what happens in india if far from what can happen in the US.

For example.. toshiba had a tieup with HCL india for all warranty related stuff and for my warranty claims for a hdd, i had waited 3 months for a replacement from HCL india!

if HCL india can take 3 months for a replacement.. forget about these 3rd parties which have no name in the market.

would you wait that long for a warranty claim?

Any way i dont want to stretch this any further..

just wrote this to clearify the position in INDIA. and i urge indian users to verify and check all this before purchase.

Hope this clarifies my point!

no, he said the retailer OR one of the RMA hubs.

"for the entire range of CORSAIR products". is what it says. did you call them and ask or just assuming they dont cover SSDs?

we have referred kaizen several times here and india residents have indeed had their RMAs done through them or one of their affiliates.

from where have you copied all this?
http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=98840 and http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87602 http://itvoir.com/portal/resources/IT-news/CORSAIR-Nationwide-service-centers-for-INDIA.asp http://www.techenclave.com/pc-peripherals/corsair-service-centre-policy-india-64373/ and a more recent review http://www.techenclave.com/consumer-feedback/corsair-customer-support-feedback-thread-135258/
