turnjet
I had a HX620W PSU and after it died within warranty last year I had it replaced with a HX650W due to the HX620W being obsolete. Trouble is it has started making a whining noise. Sounds like a locust or rattlesnake. I used some compressed air, turned off all power tech and C1E in the BIOS but still the noise continues. Will Corsair replace this or because I have already RMA'ed the HX620W, I have to buy a new PSU? Thanks.
turnjet
The first PSU (HX620W) was bought on 07/07/08 with a 5 year warranty, so I'm still within that warranty period.

Just call CS by phone with your previous RMA number and let them know about this. They will even pick up shipping both ways on second RMA's You can find the toll free number on the main website page under contact. If you are over seas or outside the US you can instal and use SKYPE to make the call for nothing.
turnjet
That's great! Will an RMA only be available for the continuation of the first warranty?
