Davor
Hello I have Abit KG7 raid (AMD 761) that supports 4x2100 and not documented 2x3200 chips. Currently, i have 1x3200 256MB and 1x2100 256MB that work fine, but I am planing to upgrade to 1GB mem --> an extra 3200 512MB My main question is: Will it work? ... and if so, will it be stable? Davor
Is the answer too obvious, like nO? or has no-one tried it out yet? Some feedback would be cool ... Greets Davor
Wired
Davor, you've got to give some time to respond! You posted it at 3 AM EST. At the earliest, assuming people don't check the boards at work, you may get a response around 5 or 6 PM EST. However, Ram Guy will see it a bit sooner than that, but you've got to give them time to respond. Please wait at least 24 hours before bumping a thread. Now, the 3200 that's in your system, I'm assuming you're running it at 2100 speeds since you have a PC2100 running alongside of it. If you add another 3200 stick, it'll just run at PC2100 speeds. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 21, 2004 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 21, 2004 I would have to agree with Wired, but I would also mention that we would not have tested this configuration! Just try it and let us know if you have any questions!
Davor
I tried it and tested it with memtest ... there were no errors so it works. Greets Davor
