Zapper_Weisman
I am planning to upgrade to a x79 system shortly. I will have the 3930k CPU and I was looking at Corsairs CML16GX3M4X1600C8 kit. I simply wish to know if I can expect this kit to operate stably at 1T at otherwise stock settings. I looked all over trying to find an answer to this and couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance. Wired
Unless stated they're all 2T.
Zapper_Weisman
Thank you for the quick reply. Can you please tell me if Corsair currently offers any quad channel kits rated for 1T operation?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted November 24, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 24, 2011 No sorry not possible! Command Rate is not a memory setting it is a memory controller setting and with the memory controller integrated in the CPU will be solely up to the CPU. However with unbufferred memory with more two ranks filled per channel C/R 2 is suggest for most if not all of the CPU's I have seen.
