tmckee
The memory finder could not locate my laptop: a Dell Latitude E6510. I'm wondering if the following memory is compatible: CORSAIR 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory Model CM3X8GSDKIT1066 G Several reviews said that it was not compatible with various models and I don't want to purchase it until I know that it will work in my machine. Thanks!
peanutz94
There not listed , but according to your system specs they should be fine. However, Dell can be really funny when it comes to aftermarket components. Memory being among the top one. *shrugs* It may be best to call Dell and ask them if they will work or not. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted November 21, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 21, 2011 I would run CPU-Z and look under the memory Tab and see what the memory you have in it now is running and if its running at 533 MHz DDR1066 then these should work, However, I would ask Dell if the NB will support memory modules made with 512Meg By 8 Memory IC's as well. If the answer is no to either of these two questions I would use the memory that Dell suggests.
