sequoia464
If ATTO doesn't show correct results try this. I also have a gigabyte board - Try turning on Raid 5. I saw someone else on these forums that was helped by that. Also - when I enable SATA III sometimes it doesn't actually get enabled. With the drives installed, I disabled SATA III in bios, booted the machine. Shut down - re-enable SATA III - and rebooted. It helped me - might not be of any use to you. Keep us posted with your results.

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 6, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 6, 2011 The numbers look pretty good to me.
tweety13
The numbers look pretty good to me. Really? I think these ATTO values look much better, especially with small files. But the AS benchmark (or my Crystaldisk benchmark) doesn't look very good, does it? Found a comparison: competitor SATA2 single drive benchmark: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-12/572793/C300IntelICH10R.jpg ATTO is useless for testing real-world performance. Crystaldisk shows faster 4K read for the single drive, 4K write: the other guy probably didn't enable write cache in Windows. My conclusion: don't bother installing a RAID0 again...
