snakebyte
Some years ago i bought a GT 16gb and i wanted to use it with this: http://www.winpenpack.com It's a project where many open source programs were made "portable": it means that these app could be run in a usb pen drive from every pc. According to this sticky topic i discovered unfortunately that the apps on it were VERY SLOW (like firefox etc...) Then i want to know this: is there the same problem with the GTR series? Can somebody pls test its pendrive with a portable app?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 21, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 21, 2010 The GTR Series flash drives are almost 2 X faster then the GT series but running portable apps will never be as fast as running them from a fixed HDD, but I don't think you will have a problem using the GTR series drives. snakebyte
I would at least some test to prove it.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 26, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 26, 2010 If I understand you correctly we do not do that type of testing, please see the product page under resources for more information.
