Onto the Top panel.... "More AIR FLOW, ..It's a Good Thing" ..and less airflow noise too.. and I think Honeycomb Modders Mesh fits the overall Industrial theme I'm creating.

Cut the corners with the Tin Snips, so you can flatten the factory grill, for tracing template

Rubber Mallet to lightly tap the HC mesh around the perimeter of the frame. Be careful to not break off the 2 plastic "latch" tabs protruding beneath the frame of the factory top grill.

We milled a .5" sheet of PCV and contoured the back to fit over the 600T panel, so we had .5" thick material for the Soss hinge...for yours, Maybe 3/16" thick acrylic with piano hinges?...Experiment is my advice to anyone interested in modding their case

We're working on a billet shell for the cover, dropped the paint booth this afternoon..Brad had just applied the Tungsten Grey base coat color

Oh, The scratches add a bit of realism... and the panels are finished, except for the window... I'm debating about adding a fan in it

Yes, I didn't want to detract too much from the core design of the 600T

Here is the design for the new top grill frame... it will be milled from aluminum.. (just for those who thought there would be no Billet Pron.. tsk tsk)

Great looking case you have got there Buddy...but you don't need me telling you that as you seem to have great taste for cases and modding them

Thanks to this thread iv contacted my parts supplier to see if there going to be stocking them.

Again...mighty fine looking case and a very professional looking Mod's you've done.

Will you be doing any them case panels for sale..?

The milled PVC side panels will set you back $375 for pair + shipping (unpainted) estimate 2 - 3 week.

Ok, back to this project

..Wood?! ..... It's just a test so we can pre-fit the top grill frame to confirm it matches the contour of the factory version, before making real deal. The heatsink fins will be left bare aluminum while the outter frame will be painted to match the "dingy" exterior finish of the case. Otherwise it would contrast and look a bit odd...

The grill will attach to the frame of the factory grill. The outter frame of the top grill will be painted to match the exterior. The heatsink fins will either be 1. left bare aluminum or 2. cleared coated with a light mixture of silver to mute the shine. I'm leaning toward the later, so the grill fits into the overall theme.

Yesterday I drilled holes into the modified factory plastic grill frame. The Honeycomb Modders Mesh is being clear coated and is very pliable to bend by hand. I marked off the location for the bend and folded it over the edge of my workbench. I've used a Pliers in the past for making corner folds.
