rafaell68
Hello, I bought the memory: CM3X2G1600C9DHX, and in general I could not run it on my device. I`ve set the appropriate voltage (1.8V) and the timing of the specification. I have 2X CM3X2G1600C9DHX (TWIN).They don`t work in any slot on the motherboard, even if I put them one by one. After power on computer memory seems to squeak. Do you have any suggestions as to solve a problem or is sending only a memory to you? PS: I`ve this one: http://www.corsair.com/products/xms3dhx/photo3.jpg but in resources i don`t see the 1600mhz version. Are they withdrawn from sale? What`s the number of the set (TWIN) TW............................? rafaell68
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 4, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 4, 2010 That memory was not tested on an AMD platform which is why you may not be reaching the rated speeds and timings. Try setting the timings to 9-9-9-24-2T and the memory voltage to 1.8v. However leave the frequency at 1333MHz.
rafaell68
I did so and did not help. I am sure that the memory does not work. I checked with a friend who has i3. Unfortunately, the same thing. The computer will not even start. Please give me information as they call these TWIN CM3X2G1600C9DHX because there is nowhere on the packaging and i need it to RMA.
