P256user
my P256 has only 940 power on hours (bought brand new from newegg in Oct 2009) but crystal disk info shows health status has already gone down to 97%. when the health status goes to 0%, will this SSD be unusable or just be read-only? http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/4490/p256.jpg
Wired
The health status is dependent on what you define the health parameters to be: http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/manual-en/HealthStatusSetting.html
P256user
The health status is dependent on what you define the health parameters to be: http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/manual-en/HealthStatusSetting.html for this SSD as well as two intel's x-25m 160G and two x-25v i have, the setting can't be changed. it shows nothing i can change when clicking setting options: http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/8267/p2561.jpg hence i assume it's predefined and non-changeable with some algorithm related with wear level and used reserved block count for SSD. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 16, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 16, 2010 I would suggest talking to the software vendor to be sure but these applications have been wrote for spinning HDD's in most cases as the information may not be important for SSD's
