Sullivan
I have a question, i currently have the tx850 upside down in my case as it sits on the bottom. I notice that it sucks air in, correct? Well it sucks air in, but their seems to really be nothing sucking air out, why? The unit has no fan on the back side of it.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 1, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 1, 2009 We use a single fan design and the fan moves plenty of air for cooling the PSU and forcing the air out the back of the unit.
FEAR6655
There is no need for another fan, force air into a closed enclosure, air gets forced out. Most PSU's are manufactured this way.
Sullivan
ok thanks for the replies, i was just wondering, i might just put a small 50-60mm fan on the out side on the back, just so my pc is even cooler, because I notice a 5-6C difference with a small fan attached.
