Dv8tor
If you are installing 4 modules then I am surprised you gt the memory much above 1000 MHz what is the exact configuration and settings you have set for both CPU and memory? Actually I only have the 2 memory modules for a total of 4GB. Windows detects 4GB but only uses 3GB becuase of the meory on my pair of 8800 GT. I used your settings above as a starting point with the following changes to get a stable 3.0Ghz O.C. Vcore 1.356 Memory 2.125 1.2V HT 1.4 NB 1.35 SB 1.5 CPU VTT 1.4 Everest shows voltages +- a few 100ths of a volt from BIOS settings. I was having a problem with Windows freezing after logging onto the desktop. So far these settings have fixed that. 2 Hours with Prime95 no problems. I may work on lowering these voltages some to conserve power. I was able to get around the problem of not being able to downgrade the BIOS from 1801 to 1303 by using the awdflash utility and the /f switch. I executed the following from a batch file: awdflash 1303.bin /f/py/sn/cd/cp/cc Here is a link to definitions for the awdflash options complements of beerman. http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?threadid=290476 Thanks for the assist.
