Dominator 8500C5D voltage

Hi,

I have 4 sticks of 1gb (Dominator 8500C5D) and I would like to know what is the correct voltage to set since I've got one set that shows 2.1V in EPP and another set that shows 2.2V (different versions of sets...). All 4 sticks are working at 1066mhz and 5-5-5-15 2T, I didn't run memtest yet, but the voltage is set to auto (mobo sets it around 2.1V).

Thanks,

Vitor.

If you have any trouble with the memory at 1066MHz at 2.1 volts then you may want to back down the frequency to DDR800. If its stable at 1066 then leave it there!

Just a question, why would anyone want to run memory rated at 1066 at 800mhz? Not attacking just wondering. Just for diags?

If you want to run 4 modules at their rated speed I would suggest using one of our QuadX Kits. But honestly running 4 modules on any system is hit and miss I would suggest just using a Twin2x4096 kit of modules they will for sure run with no problems at their rated speed.
