glead
Hello everyone, Just wondering if the CWC100-1001 works with a Core 2 Duo (1.8GHz LGA 775) on a Asus P5NSLI motherboard. Corsair’s specs for the CWC100-1001 are that it works with a P4 LGA 775. A forum I visited (forgot URL) said that as long as it fits the motherboard and it’s the right LGA, any liquid cooling kit will do. I feel like sticking with a good brand like Corsair. BTW I haven’t bought of these yet for my build – just shopping around beforehand. Thanx in advance.
JonKrmr
The CWC100-1001 is compatable with LGA 775 sockets as long as the motherboard has the required 4 mounting holes around the CPU socket. Most if not all the current and recent M/Bs have the 4 holes arount the socket. What brand /model M/B do you have?
glead
My mobo's a Asus P5NSLI. I checked with RamGuy - he's says it's okay. Thanks guys - have decided to thank Corsair for their gr8 customer support by switching to using their memory as well in my first build:D:
