TWINX1024-3200LLPT(V1.1) - ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe

I'm doing a new build and have 4 X TWINX1024-3200LLPT(V1.1) 2-2-2-6 that I love and am considering an ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe with an Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can say if I can get these to run in dual at 400mhz.

If not, I would also appreciate any suggestions on a MOBO for that CPU that would.

Thanks in advance,

Stephen

Does this mean the "Toledo" should also be able to fully utilize 4x 1024-XMS3200C2 on this MB at 400Mhz?

If so, any settings modifications?

I ask because I have

ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe

AMD 64x2 4400+ (Toledo)

4 x XMS3200C2Pro

with default bios settings and it reports seeing the 4gig but will only use 3.

Your question is completely different from his. Ram Guy's talking about 400 Mhz vs 333 Mhz. Your issue is one of 2 thing: BIOS issue / WindowsXP issue. It's a long and stupid story, but you may not be able to reclaim that last 1 GB.

Yes, this is a BIOS/Windows XP issue. There is a FAQ on the Asus US forums for that exact board with that exact question. I would have posted the link but their boards were down.
